Lorraine Telesford

"During the pandemic, Tandem was a lifeline for me. I got so used to working by myself that I forgot that I needed community, and now that I have it I can't live without it" says Lorraine Telesford, CB, CBA, PMP, fractional CFO & Controller based in Toronto.

With over thirty years of work experience, providing finance and accounting services for small businesses and not-for-profit agencies, Lorraine is passionate about uplifting local communities through her wealth of expertise.

In 2017, Lorraine came 4th in the Southern Ontario Association of Racing, Formula Femme, 600cc Motorcycle Race at Grand Bend.

Mike Cliff

Previously serving as Director of Finance for a real estate investment company, Mike Cliff worked a typical desk job, 8 hours a day, but yearned for more flexibility and a change in industry as well.

Lesley Halcro

Through Tandem, Lesley Halcro has built a thriving independent bookkeeping business, with most of her clients coming from the Tandem network. Working remotely has allowed her to move from Vancouver to BC’s Caribou region. Plus, having a full client list means she can pick and choose the clients she’d like to work with.

“I can now be more selective about the work I take on,” Lesley says.

Stefan Aleksander

A lifelong learner who loves to travel, Stefan came to Tandem after stints running food businesses, working as a courier and at a credit union. Looking for work-life balance and remote work, he discovered bookkeeping and the Tandem Network, where he quickly built up his skills and client base.

“One of the biggest benefits is getting to work with a lot of different companies. I work with close to a dozen clients and they’re all different. Personally, I get bored easily so having different clients with variety is helpful.”

Harp Bagri

Harp appreciates the flexibility of working with clients of his choosing. He and his clients get a lot of value from the hundreds of other members in the Tandem Network, who Harp can tap for assistance, guidance and resources as needs arise.

Flora began her journey with Tandem from the client side, working for a company Tandem had matched with fractional CFO and Controller Jaz Poole, a valued member of our network. When Flora decided to take a hiatus from full-time employment, Jaz encouraged her to join the network.

While taking a break to travel and contemplate her next career move, Sabrina discovered Tandem, quickly recognizing the valuable support system and opportunities Tandem offered for cloud bookkeepers.
